Movie Review
The Ringmaster doesn't get out much, so most of my movie reviews will be of the DVD variety. On the surface this seems like a throwaway movie to keep some TV stars busy while their shows are on summer hiatus, but it is quite an entertaining watch. Michael Douglas is very good as a secret service agent having an affair with the First Lady (Kim Basinger) and being framed in a plot to kill the president. Douglas spends half the movie trying to clear his name and avoid Kiefer and Eva. Of course, he does...sorry to give it away. This is basically a very good TV movie, but entertaining nevertheless. I am still trying to figure out why Longoria was cast in this role, but I think we can all figure that out now, can't we?
